Packaging of Saxophones:

Unless you request otherwise, your saxophone will be packed with our "Overkill" packaging to maximize its protection. Large boxes with ample cushioning of the instrument case on all sides cushion the shock and prevent damage in the event the carton is dropped or punctured. Beware of sellers who use small cartons!

Did you know you can damage an instrument in its case with a shock which does not apparently damage the case? Try it some time. Take your sax, in its case and drop it to the ground from 6 feet. Try playing it now.
